Since I was five, my brother and I would prepare breakfast in bed for my mum (breakfast used to be watery lukewarm coffee and soggy toast!). Continue reading Orange Chocolate Chip Pancakes
Parmesan Croutons
These croutons are lovely over salad or soup. Really quick to prepare and are very moorish, so make extra! Continue reading Parmesan Croutons

Bittergourd Chips

Eggplant Chips
If you have been to the Groove Train recently, you probably left pretty unsatisfied and annoyed that you spent all that money on a crap meal. I keep returning to the Groove Train, because I absolutely love their eggplant chips. Parmesan Chips
This is a great low carb alternative to crackers or potato chips. It takes just minutes to prepare and is really tasty. Continue reading Parmesan Chips
Medjool Dates with Brie
Dates stuffed with Brie is a dinner party staple at my aunty’s. She’d make sure the cheese was at room temperature before serving. When I make it, take it a step further and stick the dates under a hot grill before serving.
I like it both ways, cold and sweet dates with creamy Brie or warm gooey cheese and caramlised dates. If you’re trying this recipe at home, you’re bound to snack on a few pre-grilled dates, so you’ll get to try it both ways. Continue reading Medjool Dates with Brie
Rosemary Muffins
Mangy and I are absolutely addicted to rosemary. I’ve been very lucky to have a friend at work who grows masses of rosemary, she’s been keeping me well-supplied!

Avocado mousse probably sounds crazy, but it makes a great dessert, trust me! There’s no cooking involved and kids and adults alike will lap it up! Continue reading Avocado Mousse
